Indiana, often underestimated as a destination for food enthusiasts, showcases a dynamic food and beverage scene with a diverse range of festivals.

The Chicken and Beer Fest is returning this August, but this year the one-day festival will take place at The Cradle at Monon 30. Last year the event took place at Monument Circle.

Local food festivals move ice cream, chicken, beer and more to the forefront of the party.

Chef Terry Anthony brought some friends along Friday to tell us about an event celebrating two staples of life: chicken and beer.

Food festivals have been scarce since the pandemic hit a year and a half ago, but they may finally be coming back.

The festival will include DJs, a wing eating contest and guests can vote for who they think has the best chicken in Indy.

A popular festival that started last year will take over part of Monument Circle this Saturday. Indy's Chicken & Beer Festival will feature 25 local breweries and restaurants for around 3,000 people.

After receiving a big response for its debut last year, the Indy Chicken & Beer Festival is coming back for another go-around.

Chicken is more or less everywhere—and it has a growing presence in the Indianapolis area, where no fewer than a dozen chicken-centric restaurants having either just opened or plan to do so soon.
